Unmuted: Women's Journaling Hour

You've learned to keep the peace. Now tell your story.

Saturday, May 2, 2026 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET*

We all know journaling is good for us, but nobody talks about how hard it is to do it alone.

No time, no idea where to start, or what to write about, plus all those complex emotions and emerging memories.

That's why I created Unmuted, a free monthly women's journaling hour held on the first Saturday of each month, starting May 2. This is your home for the gentle accountability, supportive community, and thoughtful prompts you need to meet yourself honestly on the page.

What you'll get:

  • Three guided journaling prompts you don't have to think of yourself or get from AI
  • 45 minutes of structured writing time you'd never carve out alone
  • The sensation of writing in a room full of women doing the same thing simultaneously
  • Permission to spend an hour on yourself without justifying it to anyone
  • A repeatable ritual you can return to each month
  • A chance to win your choice of one of my three published journals
  • A facilitator who reads your prompts, holds space for you, and plays ocean sounds while you're writing

What women are saying about my live journaling events:

"Amber's workshop gave me the motivation I needed to restart my journaling practice. The prompts got my thoughts flowing, and the group showed me I wasn’t alone." —Vaughn Hyndman
"Amber's love for journaling is contagious. She creates an environment that feels safe, warm, and deeply human, making it easy to connect with her and the process." —Theresa Stroisch
"Amber's prompts have been so useful. Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started, and she helped me get unstuck." —Susan Speer
"Amber's journaling workshop helped me move from where I'd been stuck. I had to kick out two inner critics, which I would have never known to do. It was wonderful." —Jourdan Keith

Who am I? I'm Amber Campbell — journalist, essayist, and midlife reinvention coach. I created this event because I know exactly what it costs to keep your story to yourself, and what it feels like to finally release it.
